Sports Association Rules
Playing Golf requires that each golfer respects the safety rules listed in the rules of Etiquette. The player is responsible for his behaviour, deliberate or not, and must be insured for the injuries he can cause to a third-party by having a public liability insurance, included in the license FFG. Therefore it is compulsory to own a valid license from January 1st of the current year. It is also recommended to golfers to have personal insurance.
Etiquette rules are important in ensuring game of Golf correctly played. The most important of these are :
– Avoid slow play
– inviting the players behind to play through if they are waiting a lot
– repair pitch marks on greens
– respect the course & its environement
– courtesy & politeness on and off the course.
Please remind that you are not allowed to start a round apart from the tee 1, without authorization.
It is necessary to book your tee at the reception before you start.
To enter a competition, you must have paid your subscription for the current year, own a valid FFG licence, register before the end of registration date and pay the entry fee.
A non-registered player may be authorized to participate, at a fixed time depending on places being available.
The presence of the competitors at the award ceremony is recommended as a courtesy to the sponsor.
