Handicap Calculation

MATCH PLAY
Foursomes

The player with the lowest handicap is deemed as Scratch. Strokes received from the other players represent 90 % of the handicap gap with the player who has the lowest handicap.
The final result is the nearest whole number (0,5 rounded to the next whole number)

For example: A & B against C & D with their respective handicap:

5.4,15.4,25.0,34.8

Received stroke A = 0

B = 15.4-5.4 = 10×0.90 = 9

C = 25.0-5.4 = 19.6×0.90 = 17.64 rounded 18

D = 34.8-5.4 = 29.4×0.90 = 26.46 rounded 26

Two-players

Received strokes are based on Stroke play handicap and rounded to the nearest whole number (0,5 rounded to the next whole number)

Received strokes are given according to the stroke index card of the club.

The player who has the highest stroke index receives 100 % of the difference with his opponent’s handicap.

For example: A = 16.9

B = 13 difference 3.9 rounded to 4

Player A receive 4 strokes to be played on the 4 most difficult holes of the course.
